Delete your Arivette account

You can delete your Arivette account at any time, from the app or the website, without contacting anyone. Deleting it is immediate and cannot be undone.

1. How to delete your account

  • Sign in to Arivette (the Android app or arivette.cat).
  • Open your Profile and, at the bottom, choose Delete account ("Eliminar el compte" in Catalan, "Eliminar la cuenta" in Spanish).
  • Type the email address of your account and confirm with your password, and with your two-step verification code if you have it enabled.

If you can no longer sign in, write to admin@arivette.cat from the email address of the account and we will delete it for you.

2. What is deleted

  • Your sign-in: email address, password, two-step verification, and any Google sign-in linked to it.
  • All your sessions and devices: you are signed out everywhere and push notifications stop.
  • Your Google Calendar connection, which is revoked with Google, and your calendar subscription links.
  • In every club you belong to: your name, phone number, email address, profile photo and presentation, and your roles in the club. You no longer appear in the club's lists.
  • Any direct debit mandate you had signed is revoked.

3. What the club keeps, anonymised

Some records belong to your club and are needed for its accounts or as proof, so they are kept but no longer show who you were. They appear as "Deleted person":

  • Receipts and payments, which the club must keep for accounting.
  • Attendance and replies to call-ups.
  • The record of image-use consents that were given or refused.
  • The security audit trail, which cannot be edited by design.

Athletes you were a guardian of are not deleted: their records belong to the club. If you want the club to remove data about you or about them beyond your account, contact the club, which is the controller of that data.

4. When it cannot be deleted yet

The app tells you if something has to be sorted out first, and what to do:

  • If you are the only board member of a club, appoint another board member first.
  • If you pay an active card or direct debit subscription, cancel it first from "My payments".
